I started out as a Valley Girl from the North End: Granada Hills, California. From an early age I would paint busty pin-up girls, and stage talent shows on the front porch of my house. This theatre/ pin-up girl theme would follow me for the rest of my life. In the late 70's my course changed when exposed to the punk rock explosion via the Dead Boys, Weirdos, Ramones, Iggy Pop, et al. Formally trained as a portrait artist/figure painter, my art work has ended up a chronicle of the Los Angeles music/ art/ night club world, and the denizens of that world.
