Hi, I'm from Cornstock, IL and I love good ole rock 'n roll. I've been divorced for over a year now (but who's counting?), no children, but I do have a dog named Rudy and a cat named Bella MaDonna. I'm a graphic artist for a large hospital. I woke up several months ago and realized that God's on my side.

Jesus, Eddie Vedder, Sean Penn and a story to tell. Through lyrics and music and film, it can't get much better than that! I LOVE YOU EDDIE, and I have for nearly 20 years now...u rawk my soul and have saved me billions in therapy thus far...My dream date at this point would be with Christopher McCandless AND Eddie Vedder. (Am I a DREAMER OR WHAT?) Wow! Couldn't get better than that! If you didn't see 'INTO THE WILD', please rent it, it is the best movie I've ever seen in my life~!!~. I sat alone in the theatre, just like everyone else present, and we all cried, and we all felt, and we all connected for that second in time. It was a little slice of Heaven.

I'm kind of a music and art nut myself...so please feel free to enjoy the best Pearl Jam that you will ever know...GOD LOVE YOUTUBE!!

I feel the need to mention here, how moved I was to see Scott Weiland sober (he was...I so wasn't!!) with his new band VELVET REVOLVER at the Illinois State Fair...singing one of my favorite songs...by one of my favorite bands...Wish You Were Here...Pink Floyd. Enjoy the eclectic unbelievability that this was...LIVE!! Hairs saluted on the back of my neck trust me!! I dropped my full beer...then I cried. I cried for all that was, all that is, all that will never be...

Did I mention I met Scott Weiland and the rest of the Stone Temple Pilots AT the IL STATE FAIR...10 yrs prior to this video...prior to the heroin and celebrity? They were the best !! THE BEST!! I enjoyed their company, check out the picture of me and Scott Weiland in MY PICS...I was cheesin' happier in that pic than I was my own wedding photos!! Stoked CITY!!! PARADISE CITY so to speak...

My Interests

By now you've probably guessed, I'm into great music and twisted humor, but like most people, I also have a "dark side". I enjoy the arts, such as, web design, making something out of nothing, creative writing, theatre and art history/appreciation. I like to hang out with my family, friends and mammals in my spare time. As far as sports, I like Hockey and Football (to watch, not play), but I've developed a severe aversion to redneck drag racing (ie Nascar) and boring pocket protectors in plaid pants chasing little balls (ie Golf). I like to travel as vacation time and available funds permit.

I'd like to meet:

First, I love AUTUMN ZERO!! They are just an awesome local band that you MUST check out!! I've known most of them (2 outta 3 ain't bad) since high school. I am not biased, they simply ROCK!! Oh so I have met them...Well, second, it would have to be talking politics with Pearl Jam over some stiff drinks. I would also ask, "Hey Ed, what in the heck are you saying in 'Yellow Ledbetter'? ENUNCIATE!! You sound like you have a mouthful of mashed potatoes...!!! lol. I still love ya Eddie, and I still love the song, even though I can't understand a friggin word of it...cuz I can feel it!! Powerful stuff...I absolutely LOVE you guys!!!!!!!!!!!! And no, I'm not an alcoholic, they take classes or something!

Secondly, I'd like to meet the Pope and give him my opinion on birth control!

This next video is also a classic if you like Judas Priest... Welcome 2007, I thought you'd never arrive! As the Doors would say, "There are things that are known and things that are unknown and in between there are doors of perception and reason..." doors of opportunity if you will. That's my mantra this year and a happy year it's been so far, with a few expected bumps in the road...I've learned a thing or three from these bumps in the road, but if I could take it back, I so would. Oh, I soooo "get" Jack Black. He KILLS me with the humorous parody of ROCK!))

Movies:

Any thing horribly scary or terribly funny. Some all time favorites include Borat, Something About Mary, Singles (Pearl Jam's acting debut...both terribly funny AND horribly scary!), Meet the Fockers, The Exorcist, Apocolypse Now, The Omen, Jaws and A Christmas Story around the holidays. I also get into pretty much all other war flicks.

Television:

British Comedies on PBS???

Books:

Mostly autobiography's or true crime, a classic of recent reads includes The Raven. Does it get better than that?

Heroes:

My Mum for putting up with me my whole life; and my great friend Kiwi/Hanky who never ceases to make me laugh, you know who you are!! And Rebel, my best friend, for surviving it all!! She's the ballsiest chick I know! Besides my mom...who has the greatest balls of them all!

You didn't live long enough to know, to me, you were way larger than Kurt Cobain. It makes me sad you had to die alone in a tour bus. God Bless your daughter Nico...I pray she understands someday how much you meant to your true fans. You had so much potential, and you let it go...I'm so sorry for that. Cuz, you "never wanted to die"
