About Me

This Level Is Clouds! is a revolving chair of Ohioan musicians based around founder & frontman Michael Texas. Always recording, touring, or playing shows, This Level Is Clouds! stalks onward with driving progressions, odd musical structure, and sparse-but-heartfelt lyrics.
Currently a duo, TLIC! manages to fit intermingling guitars, pulsing distorted bass, drum machines, loops, samples, pounding live drums, and a makeshift light show into each performance, personifying a vast array of feelings and situations - from barrelling triumph to quiet longing.
Having marched through years of self-booked independent tours, the men super-men of This Level Is Clouds! have fully dedicated themselves to bringing innovative, honest, moving rock and/or roll to anyone who cares to listen, and even those who don't.
We are forever! (mostly).
