Where should I start?? I've had an interesting life. I went from an average person not knowing what I wanted out of life to a business owner of a continuously growing marble & granite company. I obtained my contractors licence in 2004 and now am responsible for 19 lives. It's a huge responsiblilty but I enjoy every moment of it.I won Business woman of the year award in 2006 and was sent to Washington D.C.. Congress Woman Fox presented the award to me and afterwards I got to have dinner with President Bush. In the state of California, I was 1 of 50 people selected to receive that award. It was a huge honor.I've been featured in several television shows, have commercials, have been featured in several magazines as well. My latest award was the Metropolitan Who's Who.I have lived most of my life missing and longing for my ex Carlos Alves who died in a freak accident in 1988. You can read about him in my blog. There isn't a day that goes by where he's not in my heart and on my mind. Everytime I go back home to Tulare, CA, I always go visit him, take him flowers, and sit there and think about the good old times.I lost my father recently due to suicide. He drank a lot and somehow just couldn't cope with life anymore. This too has affected me deeply. We didn't have the best of relationships and I regret not being there for him in his time of need. But who knew this man would do such a thing to himself.I speak Portuguese, Spanish, and French and am teaching myself to speak Italian.I am not a typical girl. I can be extremely girly and I can be extremely tom boyish. I LOVE riding jet skiis and quads. I have plans to purchase a boat in 2008. The economy will dictate those plans.I've done well for myself considering all the bad things I endured at a young age.With me, what you see is what you get. I wear my feelings on my sleeve and will never leave you wondering what I am feeling. I have a good heart and a good head on my shoulders.Take Care
