i am interested in me, because, quite frankly, i am RAD. if you know me, you know this to be true. here is an illustration of what i think about people/things/situations/expectations/irritations/etc/etc/ a lot of the time: also interested in food, yup, that's right F-O-O-D! GREY, ESCHER, DALI
maynard keenan and have a long conversation. my teacher, my children when they are my age. people who recur in my dreams that i don't know yet. the bilderberger's. the 1950s, the 1960s, and the 1970s. revolutionaries, big and small. howard zinn and noam chomsky, el che. people who aren't afraid to dive in. people who inspire me. my better half, my mother's father. angelina jolie, and her rad kids. gwen stefani and jack johnson. my teacher, my teacher, my teacher.......
TOOL TOOL TOOL TOOL, no doubt, APC APC APC, gwen stefani - these are my forever obsessions. jack johnson rules and is amazing, the postal service, bjork, common, jacob ray, the young immortals, elan atias (ELAN), radio head, dirt migirt, the doors, nirvana, danny elfman, the peepils pansies, and anything with good honest lyrics that make you recognize and take a minute to slow down. anything that makes me cry because it's so relevant that i feel vulnerable.
Tim burton is brilliant. edward scissorhands (all time fave), crash, old school, clue, peewees big adventure, the neverending story, breakin, roger rabbit, romeo and juliet, dazed and confused, joe dirt, the city of lost children, a series of unfortunate events, shrek, the village. i have terrible movie taste, i know it. i don't have the artistic eye for shit.
TURN OFF THE TELEVISION!!!! (except for will and grace). TV is used to brainwash america, and it's working. so, for real, turn it off and pick up a book. SERIOUSLY
the prophet (started the journey), 1984 (made me the paranoid wreck i am known to be), fast food nation, ishmael (the series); the life of PI - (best ever); original zinn and the twentieth century and anything by howard zinn; anything by david sedaris (he's fucking hillarious). i like the little prince, where the wild things are, anything by shel silverstein, i like noam chomsky too. lately political shit.......and the list goes on. i definately dont' read enough though.
mommy (the one and only) - if you have ever met her, you have met an angel on earth.
