His first breath on this world given by God was taken in Lutheran Hospital in Brooklyn New York.A women named Evelyn Mateo an Rafael Madera where the parents to "MainLan" also Known as Ray Rafael Madera Jr.This Pure Puerto Rican child grew up in brooklyn for only 3 years an left because his father"Rafael Madera" Passed on Due to Severe medical illness still in his 20's.So he didnt get to really connect with his father at such a young age.MainLan has one Sibling by the name of Joey J Madera who also moved with there mother to Las Vegas.After three years of adjustment an being only 6 years of age MainLans Mother Passed On as well in Nevada.It seemed tragedy created MainLan from the Beginning an alter emotion inside to overcome all odds against him.
After his mothers funeral him an his brother moved into his uncles an aunts house.An began a new life with them an there kids, an once again tragic events would take place.At the age of 6 an 7 Physical an verbal abuse began to him an his brother coping with it would be a huge obstacle to overcome.MainLans sibling Joey the Rebelious type an MainLan the follower of the big brother.which lead to many situations of harsh living.After years of this lifestyle at the age of 12 it began to die down,the guardians split up an MainLan had grown accustomed to watching the two children his aunt an uncle created.At the age of 12 MainLan AN Joey moved with his Uncle an the abuse began too die down do to relationships there uncle jumped into.An In those relationships bonds with families would be attached an as soon as the uncle broke up with the women whole families would disappear out there lives.so with a family of a uncle ,two cousins ,a brother who was sent away too cali for wild behavior,an a far away grandmother MainLan Fought to overcome Lonelyness.
As Highschool begins in Clark county Henderson Nevada,MainLan writes Poetry at a table his Bestfriend a blood from Gardina California drums beats on a table an spits a freestyle ,MainLan jumps in every once an a while when not to many people are paying attention in fear they will listen from nervousness. Special Ed another blood jumps in an grabbs the whole crowd around the table.One man snaps his pencil in rythm on the table while the other beat boxes.Snoot a crypt joins in but hes older then all of them so many just showed him respect as he spits a little, you hear loudass hoodgirls screamen"that the shit was ill". MainLan stays quite an continues writting poetry.One day Ace his bestfriend told MainLan he should try rappen cause of his poetry but he just shot the idea down.Eventually him an his boy part ways over the Highschool years,Ace chose to go back to Gaurdina an continue Gang Bangen...
In 2004 MainLan enrolls in the University of Hilo Hawaii,he continues to write poetry.Goes threw the same Thing many college students go threw false relationships,false friends ,some great friends but all in all his life incomplete.So like DMX he kneels down at the foot of his bed an asks God what Should he do with his career.The next morning MainLan starts writting rap lyrics listening to a Talib Kweli Cd at the age of 18.In 2006 he met a women with the same dream they both went threw 3 different producers,an finally the Built there own studio from the Ground up.In the beginning of 2007 they meet an artist known as Purpose an starts writting together while building a dream MainLan Era.Records.Now walking with a manager/producer by his side in 2007 at the age of 21 MainLans Booking Shows in Hawaii...
