Music:
I think that in another life I would have been a DJ (either that or would have looked cute in the earphones!) I love all kinds of music and dig it when you meet someone and can find common ground within it. I volunteer at a local radio station in my free time and drive my buddies crazy because I am always talking about it. Top 5 favorite concerts 1. Beck at Denver University 1999 2. Movies:
Not much of a movie person... I feel like I can find alot better things to do in the dark for two hours. BUT.... throw in Caddyshack or Tommy Boy and I am set.
Television:
Not much TV either... I don't own one, but do watch Grey's Anatomy when my roommate Tivo's it
Books:
I devour books... either I am an insomniac because I read too much, or read too much because I am an insomniac. I Love anything that makes me giggle out loud, a thoughtful storyline, or has an interesting, different writing style. I also secretly keep a dictionary next to my bed so that I can look up all the words that I don't know. I have read everything by John Irving (I even got to name my nephew after one of my favorite Irving characters). David Sedaris and David Rackoff are both great for a good giggle. I love David Foster Wallace for the absurdity of it. Also Dave Eggers, Nick Hornby, Dan Newshom, Sarah Vowell, Augusten Burroughs, Johnathan Safran Foer, etc, etc, etc.... I tend to ask people their favorites when I first meet them and proceed to judge them horribly when they answer.
