I have to say… I absolutely LOVE my life. I have been fortunate enough to experience A LOT of what life has to offer. A wise man once said, life may mold you, but it is only you who can choose what the mold will look like. I choose to make it as wide and expansive as possible. I choose to live life to its absolute fullest so when I am old and grey, I can look back without regret. I have snowboarded in Austria and eaten chocolate in Belgium. I have seen the snow capped Swiss Alps and have gotten to see Lance Armstrong win the Tour de France in Paris. I dipped my toes in the Mediterranean in Spain, I walked the streets of London, I have toured the ruins of Corinth in Izmir, Turkey and I just got back from the most amazing honeymoon where we were lucky enough to tour the entire country of Ireland and of course kiss the Blarney Stone. Being of Irish decent, this was an amazing experience for me. I have stretched the mold and lived in Germany, Seattle, Las Vegas and am now Chicago. I decided life was too short and left an unhappy marriage. I believe my divorce made me stronger and helped me to find happiness deep within myself, making me a better person. I found that I don’t need my current husband Rex to make me happy, but because I am already happy within myself, we are happy together. I wouldn’t say he completes me… but merely, we are two whole people that have come to enjoy life together. And to add to the happiness and joy in my life, while I have not yet had any children of my own, which may change in the next few years, Rex comes complete with the most incredible son that I could ever ask for. I love Jayden as if he were my own. He is my sweet little boy and I am his Lulu and when we are all together those are some of the happiest moments of my life. While I believe that life can never be perfect because it is constantly changing, and there are valleys and mountains, and you can’t enjoy the mountains without the valleys, I do believe that my life is dangerously close and I love every minute I am afforded.
