(Music And Dance) M.A.D. SKILLZ is a non-profit organization that provides training and performance opportunities for dancers between ten and eighteen years of age.
We teach using elements of Hip Hop, Jazz, Ballet, African, Modern & Praise Dance techniques.
Our mission is to contribute to the vitality of Birmingham Alabama's cultural life by training young artists while building audiences of the future using the integration of art, performance and character building activities.
All members must maintain a GPA of at least 2.5 in order to participate.
We showcase our award winning 'skillz' at Grade Schools, Universities, Community Centers, Churches, Ball Games, Concerts, Craft Shows & Festivals.MAD SKILLZ DANCE CO. IS A TRAINING GROUND FOR YOUTH TO GROW AND BECOME FUTURE ADVOCATES OF HIP HOP/ STREET DANCE. WE ALSO SERVES AS ROLE MODEL TO ENCOURAGE DANCERS TO PRACTICE TEAM WORK AND ACHIEVE THEIR GOALS. MAD SKILLZ DANCER’S DANCE WITH SELF EXPRESSION IN A CREATIVE AND NON-JUDGMENTAL ENVIRONMENT.
MAD SKILLZ DANCE CO. HAS WON B.E.T.’S WILD OUT WEDNESEDAY, SHOW TIME AT APOLLO, AND THE 2006 NATIONAL DANCE COMPETITION FOR DANCERS. WE ARE ALSO APART OF A REALITY TV SHOW COMING OUT REAL SOON. IT GIVES AN INSIDE LOOK INTO THE LIFE OF MAD SKILLZ. YOUR GONNA LOVE IT.TO PURCHASE:
