I spend more time these days playing with Hot Victory. It's totally fun and totally rules getting to make noise and arpeggios and spacescapes over tons of loud thrashing drums. It's sort of funny to me that Drumattica was doing stuff along these lines back when I was in the band (probably still is), and it took me awhile to realize the irony in playing in a similar setup. What can I say? I like drums!
I DJ a fair amount. At least, you can catch me every sunday at Berbati's, playing punk, metal, new wave, mutant disco, and new romantic type stuff.
I'm working on a new project with Ian from Guidance Councilor, called Feellings. Think Crass + Joy Division + Dance Party + Crippling Depression + Feeling REALLLY Good.
