Dreamcode came into existence in 2002, the year that Todd Herbert and his two Roland keyboards decided to step onstage alone for the first time. Even though his early performances were usually at open mic nights where most people wanted to hear another Dave Matthews cover, his music was received rather warmly. This encouraged Todd to continue writing and recording his original music.
Dreamcode utilizes lush strings and piano mixed with electronic sounds and rhythms to create songs that are both haunting and moving for the listener. The idea behind Dreamcode is that music is all about passion and the belief that in the world there are limitless possibilities.
Recently, Todd Herbert has teamed up with members of his other band, Sleepybird , for live performances. Listed above are dates for both groups. Dreamcode is busy recording its debut album, due sometime.
