APICHA YMSM

Project YMSM (Young Men who have Sex with Men) creates activities and programs that educate, as well as through community outreach and dialogue interaction, Queer Asian/Pacific Islander males in HIV/AIDS and related health issues.
EquAsian is one such support group geared for YMSM aged 16-23, which is a successful program that has integrated amiable social interactions with HIV/AIDS and health education. EquAsian meetings are held on-site at our office building on the 1st and 3rd Fridays of every month.

We are part of APICHA--The Asian and Pacific Islander Coalition on HIV/AIDS--an Asian & Pacific Islander non-profit organization combating AIDS-related discrimination. As well, we support, empower, and enhance the quality of life of Asians and Pacific Islanders in the New York City area--particularly community members living with AIDS and HIV infection--through client services, education, training and technical assistance, community organizing, coalition building, policy analysis, and research.
