About Me

I have a kick ass sense of humor. You must posess that to be the wife of a DevilDog and mother of his devilpups. You can read my blog to be entertained. Because that is what I was put on Earth to do...entertain others, usually at my own expense.

I drive the hell out of my minivan. What I really want is a truck, big and powerful and run over the lil ricers. I am a glorified tomboy of sorts, diva when I have to be or feel the urge to be one. I love power tools and I know how to use them. I can change my own tire if I need to, and I know which fluids go where under the hood.

Don't know any other woman willing to admit this, but....I am easy to love, hard as hell to live with but I'm fiercely loyal and tons of fun. I don't like to fight but will if I have to do it. The one word that describes me to a "T" is FEISTY. For a full definition, go look up the word in a cat-killer sized dictionary.

family, scrapbooking, crocheting, FLYlady, music, driving, shopping, comedy, food

and then the stuff I want to learn how to do....too long to remember it all. Some of it involves riding a motorcycle, operating other forms of heavy equipment, and tools. Mostly it is stuff that women "typically" don't do or don't learn. Yes, I know I'm weird, I've heard it all my life. But I'm probably some of the most fun to be around just as long as you're not pissing me off.

Robin Williams cuz he's just that damn funny.

Music:

Mary J Blige mostly but I have an appreciation for plenty of genres. I just can't tolerate heavy metal and reallllllly hard alternative stuff. It really truly pains my ears. I have now acquired a fondness for *gasp* country music and I absolutely love Rascal Flatts among others.

Movies:

comedies, Blue Collar Comedy Tour & any of their individual videos. I'm not a huge fan of dramas, thrillers, scary stuff or action movies.

Television:

CSI - vegas baby! Food Network, American Chopper, What Not to Wear....of course all when I have *time*

Books:

who the heck has time to read??? I've been working on "Harried With Children" for months!

Heroes:

the sappy usuals...Mom and Dad. I have learned a lot about my mom since she died...I just wish I'd learned this stuff before so I could've seen my mom in a different light. I would've certainly been a better daughter. Dad's just old skool and down to earth. He instilled the principle of what truly matters. My sons' godmother...simply amazes me. I don't know how she's managed to do it as a single mom in the military. And she's got less than a year till she retires. My best friend...been through a lot in her life and still has room in her heart for the likes of me.
