Sixx Digit was born Robert Boulle, on September 5th, 1985 in Toledo, Ohio. He started writing and recording music at an early age, releasing several low budget projects by the time he had reached junior high.
At the age of 15 he started a group with friends from his high school called "Steady Thuggin Glass." The group quickly gained the attention of the areas biggest local act at the time Hells Kitchen. Over the next two years they would play every venue in the city before landing a gig at the biggest venue, the sports arena. They enjoyed local success, but disbanded soon thereafter.
Sixx would immediately start work on his first solo album entitled "The O.F. of America." O.F. standing for Oak and Fassett, the neighborhood where Sixx had started Steady Thuggin Glass a few years prior. The album was produced, engineered, mixed, and everything else by a friend for next to nothing.
Then, in march of 2006, with no financial backing, Sixx managed to release the album independently, along with corresponding T-shirts, posters, and stickers. Blending the midwest flow of Bone Thugs N Harmony, with the vibe of Guns n Roses, the disc would sell 100 copies hand to hand in the first week, and 400 more in the following weeks. This would establish Sixx Digit as one of Toledo's top drawing names. He has since released two mixtapes, and will now release his second full length album "The Illusionist."
In January of 2008 he began his first tour of the United States opening for national recording artist Cap One. Now that Sixx's fan base is growing, he is more focused than ever. You can expect to hear and see alot more from Sixx Digit in the near future.
