laura bivona and i are now wedding planners, not just any wedding planners but SPORTS wedding planners.picture this: lets say you're an eagles fan. brides maids wear teal and silver dresses with their names and numbers of favorite eagles on the back. rather than carry bouquets, they carry eagles pom-poms. ushers have silver and teal cummerbunds and ties and carry footballs. rather than a priest, rabbi, etc a referree will officiate. if it is a jewish wedding all male guests will wear tiny, little helmets instead of yarmulkes. fast forward to the reception.once all of the guests have been seated they will find bullhorns and foam fingers at their tables. the lights go out and spotlights start swirling around. an announcer takes over and begins announcing the names, numbers and general stats of the wedding party who, upon having their name called, run into the reception where they will be met a line of the bride and groom's family members. as they run through the line they will slap fives with all of them. after the entire wedding party has been announced the lights go out again. its starts very quietly at first be-na be-na be-na be-na be-na be-na-na-na-na HEY!... the spotlights start swirling again and the announcer comes back on. "LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, YOUR BRIDE AND GROOM!!!" the bride and groom then burst through a giant paper sign as "Fly eagels fly..." begins playing.throughout the reception the music selection will be mainly pulled from Jock Jams. in the background will be a slide show of great eagles moments, interspersed with pictures of the bride and groom, most likely at eagles games. there will also be the option to photoshop the faces of the bride and groom onto the bodies of the eagles, its a question of personal taste. WE THINK WE'VE HIT ON A GOLDMINE........................................
