(NIAGRA.....) In the world of Hip-Hop/ R&B, there is a constant lyrical battle of many who seek superstardom status such as: the constant circle of wannabe's and one hit wonders who hit our airwaves for 1 hot minute. But in every decade there is one artist who rises to the challenge of becoming a legend, and now it's such a time, the time for Niagra. Niagra is a vocalist extraordinaire. Just as her namesake applies, her lyrical contents and delivery, the impact of her talent is phenomenally ripe for the market. Niagra is originally from Harrisburg, PA. She moved to Brooklyn, NY mid 2003 to pursue her dream of obtaining a record deal. In her own words she states: “Where I'm from, we just didn't have the outlets to pursue my career further; so I decided to move to New York City. Her musical beginnings began when she was only 3 years old. Her mother sang to her all the time, this later blossomed into her love for writing poetry, which allowed her the opportunity to create her own musical compositions. Then she entered the world of hip-hop. She quickly fell in love with the freedom of musical expressions that hip-hop offers, and with her natural developed skills it was a match made in heaven. Because of the musical influences from Smokey Robinson to Patti Labelle, Niagra is constantly raising the bar on her musical plateau. She feels that all the artists she respects have a common element, and that common element is the chemistry that made them legends. This is he ultimate objective to strive for the highest level within her talent and then go beyond that boundary. Niagra has performed up and down the eastern seaboard. She was the opening act for both Adina Howard and Christopher Williams, in 99' she was signed to Tanelli Records; where she had the opportunity to attend the “How Can I Be Down†convention. Unfortunately the company did not have strong management and later folded due to such. Today, this phenomenal artist is seeking a major record deal; and her love for music has awarded her guest appearances on mix tapes with other artists including (A.R.) which also heads up an indie label with the aid of Niagra by the name of 71718 Entertainment. Releasing there debut unofficial remix mix tape T.W.I.O.(The Wait Is Over) earlier this year. (A.R.....) To begin is to enter what is known as the beginning of a new chapter, the start of a journey, a saga perhaps. Out of this emerges A.R. The name alone can stand for many acronyms such as the legendary Assault Rifle/ or After Ransom etc... But here before you stands Anee Reazon. A.R. Was born '76 in Brooklyn, NY. A nomad if you will moving to E. 233rd street in the Bronx, NY up to the age of 10 from there moving to Yonkers, NY and from there retreating back to his roots in Brooklyn, NY where he's been for the past 18 years. Life in Brooklyn wasn't easy. The streets raised him to what has become of him today. The love of listening to some of his favorite M.C.'s like Spoony G, Big Daddy Kane, Kool G. Rap, Rakim and Eric B., Craig G., etc… to name a few this infused his talent to unfold, writing rhymes at the age of 7. It started as a just a pastime a hobby of some sort which lead to writing poetry and short stories. From there; as his skills progressed so did his love for music and poetry. And as his love for music and poetry grew so did his audience, and that’s when he realized that this was where he belonged. His name up in lights next to the other greats before him and those to come. As an artist without management or well known representatives its been a long and hard struggle for him to obtain a record deal states A.R.. Beginning his musical journey he started in a group founded by him and 2 other high school friends(Da Untouchables),which led him to join a super group(Code: Black Committee).By the year of 2001 the group which was formed in high school was demolished due to lost of friendship and/or lost of communication. But the super group remained and was beginning to flourish as a well known local rap group performing at various showcases and events including opening for the Uptown Comedy Clubs traveling performances, The Showboat; solo performances include The Elite Ark /The Roseland / and The Ballroom . Besides featuring on various local D j's mix tape compilations such as D.J. N-S-Pee/ Naydee/ Will/ Damills/ Showtime and a host of others. When friends and family started hearing him on the underground radio stations (95.1 Fm) and attending showcases is when he received the inspiration to take it to the next level. Which entailed him being a local legend for rapping in his community joined up with another living legend (Niagra) of Harrisburg, PA., coming together to follow the footsteps of great entrepreneurs such as Russell Simmons, Sean Carter, Sean Combs, Clive Davis, etc.; In forming hip hops newest indie label to take over were they left off is 71718 Entertainment. A combination of one of the best from Brooklyn (718) and mixing it with one of the best in HBG. (717). A force not yet reckoned with or for that matter one to run from challenge. With there current debut of an unofficial remix mix tape released this year titled “T.W.I.O.(The Wait Is Over)â€. A.R. the voice of reason, and once you hear his voice you'll be yearning for more reasons to listen than to hate.
