About Me

Hi, I'm Steve and welcome to MySpace!
This weekend i'll be having it with an ever expanding crew at Pukka Up on friday night at The White House in Clapham. Its sure to be quality!
Check out my new Mix's blog from the 7th July... I'll be uploading two mix's - one more deep/funky house, one more tech/prog house - I'll also be giving some out this Friday at Pukka Up so if come and ask for one!
Biography..
With over 10 years experience in the dance music industry Steve started out as a co-promoter and resident DJ of numerous house nights in west london in the late 90's, playing at bar's, clubs parties enjoying life and never taking things too seriously while always keeping one eye on the future knowing bigger and better things were on the way.
Having been holidaying in Ibiza for 6 years Steve finally gave in to temptation, left a career in the City moved out to Ibiza in May 2004. Armed with a box of records bigger than his suitcase Steve set out on securing his first gig - this came at Itaca in San Antonio, where he has played ever since, in 2006 being made a full resident. That year also brought Steve his first major club residency with the ever glamorous 'Pukka Up' at Es Paradis, also playing on the Pukka Up boat parties that have now become stuff of legend.
2007 was another great season, with Steve moving over the road to Eden and Judge Jules' Judgement Sundays as the resident for the newly opened 'White Room' along side Eden resident Alex Elenger for a season proving to be their busiest to date. The summer of 2006 also gave Steve's other residency, Itaca, their busiest season in history which was largely down to the great guests DJ's and musical direction being influenced by Steve's now rounded style of varied, diverse but always building House music. This was showcased when Steve was asked to play a 6hr set to celebrate 'Savannah's' 10th birthday party playing to club rammed from start to finish, following on from Roger Sanchez and Groove Armada.
The experience gained over these years has made Steve equally at home with all styles of house from deep, melodic and funky beats through tech & progressive to the peak time monsters at home in the main room of clubs like Pacha and The Cross where Steve has graced the decks many times.
Looking forward, 2008 has big things are in store for Steve Riley. With bookings from Pukka Up and Ultra+ in the bag, other residencies starting soon, trips to Ibiza in the diary and productions in the pipeline its shaping up to be a very busy year.
I strongly recomend you check out DJ Steve Riley - he's always happy to say hello, make some new friends and comletely smash whatever party he's playing at!
The Future...
