Why I'm the best at being Gareth Leach
I am a Freelance Audio Engineer / Assistant Engineer at Studio One - Collingwood, Melbourne. At the studio I have had the opportunity to with awesome Producers/Engineers such as Kalju Tonuma, Aaron Humphreys, Magoo, Barry Palmer, Richie (DW) Norton & Mandy Kane. I have finished a four year bachelor of applied music. On top of all that shizzle i am a working musician playing in the band "Responder", formerly "An Undying Day In Orbit" (drums) and currently also with "Benny Walker and the Professionals" (drums) as well as doing my own stuff.
The Highs:
Music - Recording with Vika and Linda Bull, The Morning After Girls, Capeside, Perfect Reason, Horsell Common, The Millionaire Souls, Third Degree, Mandy Kane, Beki T and The Bullets, Black Cab, Blow Waves and The Paradigm Shift. Playing shows with Trial Kennedy, Something With Numbers, Responder, Grinspoon, 28 Days, Nokturnl, Sunk Loto, Platform Orange, The New and Elephant Gun. Oh yeah, I work at Camberwell Grammar.
Misc. - Seeing the look on Monica's face watching in disgust at the spacticle that was me and Lofthouse smashing a double Lambs in under 5 minutes. Drinking with the Orbit boys a few months back when the Legendary Bunn Ricky turned into Sleep Quicky - Let me talk to your mudda! Ahhhhh Fuck!. My 21st was ok I guess.
The Lows:
I have had a pimple on my forearm.. it hurts.Â
