I'm a shy idealist, confident, dependable, goal oriented person. When I make plans I stick to it. I'm naturally friendly and i'm very passionate. I consider myself rather intelligent and quick witted. I take my personal life very seriously. I'm usually found surfing the cutting edge in music. I love a good weekend music festival and have attended many major events such as Woodstock 94 & 99, Crossroads Guitar Festival, Gathering Of The Vibes, The Voodoo Festival, Jazzfest, Bonnaroo and Ozzfest. I love to travel (there's nothing like a good long road trip). Been to several different countries (U.K., Canada, Mexico, and of course United States). I play percussion mainly for Martian Wildlife, however I've sat in with other bands as well. I don't listen to the radio much, I think they're way to repetative and overated. I was a photographer and columnist for a local music news publication, I still do it for myself as a hobby. My all time favorite band is Aerosmith, even though I'm really in to jam bands of late. I like watching Horror and B-Movies. I enjoy fishing and camping and just hanging around people......................................................
......................................Lee Brooks: (Joe's friend) How Lee knows Joe: What makes this person a great catch: He is the main provider for much of his family, he's unselfishly housed and looked after his mother, sister, and has acted as a stand-in father for his niece. Anyone who is into music would like Joe. He's been to hundreds of shows and festivals such as Telluride Blues and Brews, Jazzfest, Aerosmith, Black Sabbath, Leon Russell; the list goes on and on. Joe is an encyclopedia of music history, an accomplished contributing music reporter, talented photographer, top notch drummer and percussionist, avid rock and roll memorabilia collector, and has served as consultant and manager for Counsel (a local rock band that always packs them in) which includes his brother Felix Deleon and long time friend Erick Villareal, and now in the band "Martian Wildlife" which also includes the two aformentioned musicians. My first year in Galveston Joe came by and took our order on his way out to a fishing trip and much to my astonishment, he came back a couple hours later with a forty pound redfish which I beheaded with a reciprocating saw and proceeded to cook. Talk to Joe about fishing!
