Bonjour! My name is Derek Landry. I am 27 years old and am from Crowley, Louisiana. I am the host of "Dimanche Matin Cadien". A program that spotlights Cajun French Music from 7-12noon every Sunday morning On KBON 101.1. I am a proud cajun who is proud to be able to speak cajun french. And in the words of Belton Richard ( the King of Cajun music) Moi j'aime ma musique en Francais.

My Interests

Music has always been a huge part of my life. But I do enjoy doing tons of outdoor stuff. Love movies and sports. Really I am a very well rounded person.

I'd like to meet:

Well fortunatly I have met most of my heros. But if I had one wish It would be to see my grandfather again. My grandfather Francis Broussard was by far the biggest influence in my life.

Music:

I have respect for all music. But Cajun French music is what means the most to me.

Movies:

Comedies are my favorite...after all in this day in age we could all use a good laugh.

Television:

I love the Family Guy. It is probably my favorite tv show. But House and Reba come a close second.

Books:

Oh Yee Yaille Chere. The greates book ever!

Heroes:

My grandfather Francis Broussard and Belton Richard....what a mixture!
