Caine was raised in the quiet, laid back city of Washington-Wilkes, Georgia, and found herself in Augusta, Georgia at 17, determined to find her own way past the glass-ceiling she had been warned of growing up. Coming from a place that laughs at the idea of teaching children that "the sky's the limit," Jackie was not naive about the reality of the stereotyped role women play in society, but wasn't content with believing anyone who preached she "couldn't" in reference to anything she was attempting. Now, 4 years later, Caine is well-known to the underground music industry of the CSRA, has established connects from Virginia to Florida and back over to independent artists in Texas. In love with southern flavor and the vibe of Georgia, specifically, she doesn't strive to leave the state that's raised her...she has plans to work with other indie artists in the area to become part of a talented music connection in the peach state, extending to the underrated areas of South Carolina. She's not shopping for a record deal, she's making music because it's what she loves to do.
