With over 19 years of hard work and dedication under his belt, "Huggie" has reached, & touched the lives of faithful music loving fans everywhere.With a unique and intriguing sound that can only be described as his own, his sets are difficult, if not impossible, to pin down to one style. With hints of House, Tribal, Techno, & other elements, you can rest assured that each and every one of his sets, is focused on creating that one mystical roller coaster ride. Each set is designed and formulated to make you move, to make you think, to make you feel, & most importantly..… To make you remember.As a DJ, "Huggie" never disappoints the crowd and truly enjoys spinning extended 4-8 hour sets where he can showcase the full digital spectrum of his unique style. On occasion "Huggie" will add the flavor of live percussionists to his performances with the "Vector Tribe Drummers.â€With an uncanny ability to combine all genres of electronic-music-mayhem together, seamlessly throughout his set, he sets forth to educate those who think a DJ has to have only a one-genre style. He refuses to limit himself to one sound or genre of music, because to him, all music is connected one way or another. Music to him is truly a form of self-expression, and a way to release his emotions at that time. That makes each set different. That makes each set moving. That makes each set worth waiting for.Being credited with many accomplishments throughout his career, "Huggie" is proud to hold the honor and respect of being one of the most talented DJs North America has to offer. With an uncanny versatile awareness to the crowds needs, “Huggie†can adapt to Clubs, Massive, & intimate gatherings. From the LA Coliseum to intimate small gatherings…. This man can do it all. Having played forty-seven of the fifty states, and having toured in such illustrious places as Korea, Italy, Hawaii and Canada, he is preparing himself for a busy 2007."Huggie" first gained notoriety as a producer/remixer, with his first track "Paradox Dreams"©. It appeared on an album next to tracks by other well respected artists, such as Micro, Adam X, T-1000, Vicious Vic and Frankie Bones on the X-SIGHT RECORDS© compilation entitled "BELIEVE 96-97"© through BROOKLYN MUSIC LTD.© "Huggie" has also done remix work for PHATT PHUNK RECORDS© (Los Angeles) as well as FUNKED UP RECORDS (Texas). Two of his more recent tracks "Ali Sun"© and "Sunrise in Tikal"© were released on the IRIDIUM MUSIC© compilation "Higher Collective Consciousness"©.Huggie’s next project will be an album titled “Journal 3/28†which is dedicated to the passing of his mother on March 28th, 2002. "Huggie" had to take a break from DJ'ing and moved to Seattle to clear his mind and grieve for this huge loss. After a 3 year hibernation, this "Huggie" Bear has missed his love for spinning and producing. This album will contain a mixture of Genres ranging from Ambient, Trip Hop, House, Tribal Techno, Breaks, Acid and other progressive landscapes. This album will be a project that will define his love for Electronica and all of its beautiful genres.
