UPDATE 6.25.2009The new album DOPHIUS vs. THEM is now FINISHED! This is my first attempt at making a "concept" album. I had the pleasure of working with some very talented people on this one and I am getting excited to get it out on the streets. ORDER YOUR COPY TODAY!!
I started rapping with my old crew the Dead Beats in college where I released 2 solo EP's, WEIRDO: Opinions of Another Selfish Asshole and WEIRDOPIUS (a staff pick in SLAP magazine Aug. 2002). Produced by DJ DEFT, these two records paved the way for future releases.
The next notch in the Dead Beats belt came with the short lived formation of the Walkmen ProJect in late 2004. It was an exceptional pairing of DIXTION and myself. With complementing styles, dope beats and powerful lyrics, the Walkmen ProJect’s first record, Art vs. Artists was well received by critics and show-goers alike.
The subsequent Walkmen ProJect record, Wake up, It's Time for Bed was released late 2006 and was a triumphant sophomore record at that. With the help of talented local producers, Wake up, It's Time For Bed is a well rounded record and hosts some of my heaviest and most conscious lyrics to date. Shortly after this record dropped the Walkmen ProJect was scrapped.
My first official solo record 28 Seasons was released on my record label ( Dead Beats Records) in the summer of 2007. It contains the highlights off of my previous works as well as some new bagners.
The Dopey Pea ( Dead Beats Records) was released in the Fall of 2008. It was produced entirely by Sinok and is backdropped with beats from the likes of Noetic and Big Hell
