i like to jump in the movie theater,even scream---but if a rape scene comes up, i'm leaving. i like things other than horror, too...empire records, the breakfast club, stand by me, history movies, cultural movies, MOULIN ROUGE has to be among my top 3...i love musicals, if they are not obnoxious...ummm...etc.?..i love most of tim burton's stuff as well...i don't know, kinda like music, my list would go on and on, and take days to compile...
Television:
i don't watch much tv---just movies for the most part---i'll watch mythbusters once in awhile with my hubby---that's about it---oh, the Dog Whisperer---he's truly a gifted man, i like national geographic and the history channel...
My son likes the Between The Lions series...i'd have to admit that it's, at the very least, tolerable
Books:
i yearn for books that devour me...
if i can't sleep, or eat, because i desperately need that next page, it's a book worthwhile...
if i can't get up to go to the bathroom, and just hold it in for hours, it's a book worthwhile...
if a book can make me laugh, cry, and scream more than once each within it's covers, then it's a book worthwhile...
Heroes:
my mom and dad-after losing their only son, and first child, they kept it together enough to raise a fairly well adjusted child-although i can't believe that it's been 19 years since he passed...my husband...i can't say enough about him--he's my bestfriend, my lover, and my companion...my support when i bend, and my glue when i break...firemen, mechanics(my hubby is one), policemen, missionaries, my preacher Ernie,my dog, Cody--he saved my life once--many teachers...they got handed a lot of shit, and taught me my shovel so i could deal with what was handed to me...
