Na'ahulelua LeRoy Makekau (aka Na'a) is a high school graphic design teacher and a freelance graphic and textile designer. Na'a was born and raised in Hilo Hawaii and has been a graphic artist/illustrator for over 15 years and have done work for T&C Surf Designs, Hawaiian Island Creation, da Hui, Creative Arts Hawaii, Maui Bay Designs,, and many more companies around the Islands and on the Mainland.
Some of his Contemporary art has been exhibited here in Hawaii and on the mainland.
In his spare time, he is also a surfer, USAV volleyball player and a big MMA fan. "Props out to BJ Penn and my cousin the Rude Boy for putting our home town Hilo on the map".
