I am here for Dating, Friends and Networking

About Me

There's a lot more to me than can be said in a MySpace profile. But I can try, can't I?
I'm a full-time student, working on getting my bachelor and master degrees in history, and eventually I want to get my doctorate.
Even though I believe my mind and intellect are my greatest assets, I go to the gym every day to build and train my body as well.
I'm probably one of the most open-minded people you'll ever meet.
I tend to break stereotypes, rather than perpetuate them.
I've been told many times by many people that I have one of those "love-or-hate-me" personas.
Sarcasm and intellect are more than often my weapons of choice.
I'm very opinionated, but try to utilize tact when needed.
I'm an extremely passionate person.
I try to live life to it's fullest.
I stand for what I believe in, and stand beside my friends.
I believe knowledge is the best way to better yourself. Learn.
I want to be will be a college professor.
I honestly believe I'm destined for greatness, I just don't know how yet.
If you want to talk, hit me up.

My Interests

I'd like to meet:

Myself in 10 years. God as a person, not the deity. The Dalai Lama. Anyone who I can learn something from.

A long time coming...

//:EDIT:// This is not a Q: A: format, just thoughts.  This is not the basis of my abandonment of Christianity, again, just questions.  I suppose I should have made that more clear. I apolog...

An interesting observation...

I've been visiting a lot of atheist blogs lately. I just came back from one a few minutes ago and realized that the comments are really getting out of hand. I think in many aspects, atheists are more ...

The Metaphysical Scam, According to Bob

It has been postulated that life is a proving ground, a test we are all born into where we are judged not by what we do so much as what we believe. Granted there are several schools of thought as to w...

For The Love of God....Literally.

A conversation with my friend, "Mr X", has prompted me to at least try to articulate something that has always bothered me and is one of the cornerstones of my agnosticism. It deals with the...

The Dictatorship of Certainty

I've been in a pissy mood as of late, and the Pope, THE POPE, of all people, pulled the last straw. "A dictatorship of relativism is being formed, one that recognizes nothing as definitive and that ha...

Some questions, again. Theological, of course.

I have been wondering why no one seems interested in the writings that are contemporary with other Christian writings of the 1st century. While prot-bots (protestant robots) have apparently succe...
