I first start promoting Austin Musicians in Eureka Springs Arkansas in 1993. It was not til 2004 that I actually formed AUSTIN ARTISTZ. It began out of a love for good singers, players, and music found in or around the Austin area and has never strayed from that focus.With over 40 years in the industry, booking agent,promoter, producer,director,and all around comedian. Mr. Music has led a VERY VERY interesting life. Born and raised in Kansas City, Missouri, he cut his teeth on Soul Music,BBQ,and theatre of the performing arts. Promoting his first show while still in high school, MrMusic was instrumental in bringing live music to major venues in Kansas City like the Uptown Theatre from the mid 70's to 1989. After moving to Eureka Springs, Arkansas he continued bringing live entertainment to music lovers high in the Ozark mountains. Because MrMusic has always had a deep seated love for Texas and Austin Musicians, he brought only Austin Artists to Arkansas. In the Summer of 2004 Mr Music relocated deep into the Heart of the Texas Hill Country where he sought out to book the best talent that Texas had to offer.As of,2007 Mr Music has returned to the Ozark Hills. Look out Texas,I plan on returning.Mr Music knows how to work with all varieties of promoters' needs, whether they be major seasoned promotion companies, clubs, festivals or down home Blues Society events.
