MPs: Sometimes Even Warriors Dial 9-1-1

About Me

MyGen Profile Generator
Well ok there really isn't much more to say about me that you can't get from just looking at my page. I was born in Yonkers NY, went to HS and College in the Bronx. My whole life I wanted to either be in the military or law enforcement, so I eventually came to the decision to not pick but do both. I worked for a short time in Law Enforcement for Westchester County, but I have to say being an MP has definately been different, espescially after SEP 11 2001. Within a few days after that I was at the Pentagon, and that was definately unreal. Unknown to most we had a few scares that was the cause for more than minor alarm, but all in all we got things right there again. I've been assigned to an International Military Police Force as a part of NATO, and thats been interesting, and I've made some great friends from all over Europe & North America. I've been to Afghanistan where it was fun times had by all-- NOT. But aside from the incoming rockets, RPGs, mortars, small arms fire, the land mines, and suicide bombers it really wasn't so different so different from a vacation in the middle of the Arizona desert. I've been fortunate enough to serve as a Squad Leader, and will soon be promoted from Sergeant to Staff Sergeant. I love being an NCO, and though I get quite a few requests from officers to become one, it isn't going to happen. As an NCO I get to be boots on the sand with the Soldiers I lead, not stuck behind a desk. Now if you don't agree with current foreign policy thats your right, but do NOT send me messages about it, I do not have any control over it. Furthermore, I will always support my leaders no matter how I personally feel, and make sure my orders are followed, my buddies, my men and myself make it home.

My Interests

I am interested obviously in Law Enforcement and the military. I love my job. I'm also martial arts - I am starting freestyle martial arts tournaments when I am in the States- weight lifting, boxing, and baseball as sports. I've retaken up drawing, and painting, and had some stuff developed into unit logos and barracks murals. But of course I love to party, and I've partied in some of the best places -NYC, DC, Savannah, Miami, Atlantic City, Paris, Milan, Rome, Brussels, Cologne, Aachen, Amsterdam, and Maastricht. Life is about having the best stories and so far I'm not lacking, and just keep getting more.

I'd like to meet:

Old friends I haven't seen in awhile...this job sucks for maintaining friendships. I'd like to meet cool new people, I've got friends all around the world and always looking to make more. Who knows where I'll be next, that comes from echalons way above me, and whereever the powers that be tell me where to report it's always cool to havepeople there you know and can have a beer with. I'd like to meet Osama Bin Laden, I'm very interested in hearing his opinion of how a rifle butt to the bridge of the nose feels, and the pain level a sledge hammer to the knee cap delivers. However, any time any of the following want to call, feel free to look me up: Jessica Alba, Jamie Lynn Sigler, Jennifer Love Hewitt, Alyssa Milano, Jessica Simpson, Angelina Jolie, Eva Mendez, Leah Rimini, Mariah Carey, Drea de Matteo. However, if you feel I left your name off in error go ahead send me a line and I'll let you know.

Music:

I listen to a wide variety of stuff....but just not country. I like Kid Rock, Jay-Z, 50 Cent, Linkin Park, Rammstein etc. when Im working out. If I'm just listening to listen, I go with Nickleback, REM, Billy Joel, Creed, Shakira, Anastacia, etc. But I'm comfortable with most anything in the right situation.

Movies:

I love all types of movies, but theres just something about a good ass kicking movie that you can't beat...So on the list you gotta have BlackHawk Down, Out For Justice, Above The Law, Exit Wounds, We Were Soldiers, Saving Private Ryan, HEAT, Goodfellas, The Godfather Trilogy, Rocky, Rambo, Get Carter, The Last Samurai, Gladiator, The Last of the Mohegans, Enemy of the State, The Siege, Die Hard Trilogy, The Untouchables, Scareface, Carlito's Way, Donnie Brasco, Man on Fire, Punisher (both rock), and Batman Begins. You can't beat a good comedy like Analyze This, Hitch, Rush Hour, Big Daddy, Stripes, Groundhog Day, Bad Santa, Weird Science, American Pie, Euro Trip, Shrek, Shrek 2, Ghostbusters and Young Frankenstein. But the movie that has no other rival is The Passion, there are numerous reasons to love Jesus, but He stared Satan in the eye and pretty much told him to take a leap, and suffered a merciless beating, sacraficed his life for the good of everyone else, and never backed down from his beliefs....if thats not hardcore I don't know what is, thats leadership from the get go, and I feel privledged to be a Catholic, and follow the faith.

Television:

Current stuff has to be The Sheild (you gotta ask yourself in hard situations "What would Vic do?"), The Sopranos (Cause if Vic ain't got a solution Tony would), OCC (Cause those are some bad ass bikes) & 24 (Cause kicking everyones ass in 24 hours is pretty hardcore). Old-School stuff has gotta include MacGyver, Starsky & Hutch, Kojak, The Highlander, A-Team, Tour of Duty, Berretta, and Hill Street Blues. Real Old-School: The Untouchables, and Dragnet.

Books:

I read alot, really anything I can get my hands on, but among the top are Blackhawk Down, In The Company Of Heros, Rainbow Six, and The Hostage...But anything non-fiction on Police / Military / Intelligence tactics and techniques are always in demand. In addition to work related books, I've enjoyed The DaVinci Code, Angels & Demons, Digital Fortress, everything by Mario Puzo.

Heroes:

The Bronx Bombers

Babel set off in the right direction, however it just didn't quite deliver. There were moments in this film that were absolutely inspired, and thought provoking, however, unlike "Crash", the story was...
