Introducing into a text with one of the greatest heads in history has always been one of my desires and with the citation of Zhane we have even taken popular culture on board. Why all this?
Since the end of the nineties a lot of 10-year-anniversaries has increased everywhere in the Techno and Housescene, more or less worthy.
But more then 18 years of active streetworking is a period, one can be proud of, particularly if you have always have been uncompromised with your principles and side-stepped the imminent selling-off.
Since 1989 Holger 'Hoschi' Wick is one of the asset-items and motors of germans techno and housescene, passing pretty much of the stations of life that dancing society implicates. Want to be pleased with a little flashlight thunderstorm?

'Hoschi' was one of the scenes Pathfinder, when he released together with his former partner Giora Schein on Talla 2XLC's label NEW ZONE in 1990 under the project name "Konzept".
More than 10.000 copies were sold with 'Hypnautic Beats', one of the first cross-over hits that influenced electronical dancemusic.

together with Talla, Hoschi wrote a kind of success story of MUSIC RESEARCH.
With SUCK ME PLASMA! and INFLUENCE RECORDINGS, where acts like Dance2Trance or Komakino were featured, they raised up two more labels into the bloody young Technoscene in Germany.
Musical misunderstandings lead to the separation of Talla and Hoschi in 1991.
With productions like PURPLE PLEJADE (with Thomas P. Heckmann) on Djax Up, MAD SCIENTIST on Communique USA and NERVOUS PROJECT on Labworks he called attention.
In 1992 he founded together with Andy Düx the NOW!-record store in Mainz, receiving the Frontpage award as german "Record Store Of The Year" in 1995.
But Hoschi concentrated his passion for his own labels, where he put most of his energy in.
In 1991 he founded LABWORKS, which gained huge success with the second release "Our Reservation" by Desperation.
Furthermore the label introduced more artists like Dave Clarke, Freddy Fresh, Woody McBride, Rob Acid and Thomas P. Heckmann
After the end of Labworks in 1997 he carried on business together with Woody McBride (aka DJ ESP), modernizing with TESTUBE RECORDS the acid scene.
Parallel to this, he started in Mainz VIRTUAL RECORDINGS and had a deep impact on the clubscene with the "Rok Da House" under the pseudonym WICKED WIPE.
By the time of the NOW!-record store, he got in touch with Frank Lotz and Tobias Müller and SENSE MUSIC was created in 1998.
By the end of 2001 Hoschi moved to Berlin and in 2005 he established the worlds first Electronic Music Magazine on DVD - SLICES..............and the story continues.
