The Musical Journey of; xABOMBx13 **The Short Version***
At the age of 10 I received my first drum kit, I would bang on it for hours to all my favourite records (you know those black things made of vinyl..)
At age 15-17; I was in my first(of many) bands called NATAS (we came in 2nd for the Battle of the Bands).It was then I started tinkering with a guitar and teaching myself too play.("There was always one lyng around")
AT 17ish; I moved to Oakville Ont, I met a great group of guys and joined up with SOB(Shades Of Black) We started jamm'n and writing some songs and then we started getting gigs and where off... after awhile things changed, people have babies,get married, move on.
At 23:I bounced around from city to city for a couple years played around got fed up and headed West.
In Vancouver I dove head first into the music scene. I met Kick from Vertical After/SF9, I sat in with them for awhile, while they were in between drummers. I did some gigs, video's and a tour) Then I started Vicious Circle while play'n with them we did some studio stuff and had some local success and then by accident "Dr. Hanger" was born with myself on guitar instead of drums (what a BLAST) we did alot of local gigs and some Seattle shows with bands like The Melvins/the SMALLS/the Dayglo - Abortions. Due to too much exccess on some peoples parts, "All good things must come to an end" after awhile it was time too take a break.
After a long break I decided it is time to get back in to the scene so I went and took an Analog & Digital Recording course (to Produce and Engineer Music) and started to look for that right group of people to start something up with again . I went to a few different auditions ended up play'n with Taste Like Chicken(T.L.C) We did a couple of show's and had some fun,
I played with SKOOKUM for a couple of years, We cut a Cd played some awesome gigs and then parted ways. (" Abomb is a multi-instrumentalist playing drums, guitar and bass.He has a long list of credits under his belt and is known for his hard edge and hard drive'n rythms ...CoryVan from SKOOKUM)
Now it is time too start putting out my own stuff and see where that goes so stay tuned...
