3rd EyE Family

3rd EyE as a whole was started in 1998 by a small group of people including Ben Gilbarg who heads the organization today. For the past 6 years 3rd EyE has held a well known event that takes place in New Bedford evey year and represents true Hip-Hop called the 3rd EyE Open, including.. Extreme grafitti, underground emceeing, basketball tournaments, and breakin' and poppin' contests. This year the event atracted around 10,000 people, a new record. We also have a succesful ongoing TV show called Put Out The Word (POTW).
