ABOUT USThe Label Girls of Label Los Angeles.com are Katie Bogue and Emily Heintz. We launched Label Los Angeles.com in October of 2004. Since then we have experienced a whirlwind mix of surprises, challenges, setbacks and accomplishments. From making up employees names to a launch party attended by E! to financial difficulties to a spread in Lucky magazine, we have seen it all. Last summer, we were approached about filming a reality show filmed called Label Girls based on the experience of running Label Los Angeles.com . Our MySpace page will detail the process of selling a show and how we continue to run our business despite all our challenges.HISTORY OF LABEL LOS ANGELESThe concept of Label Los Angeles.com developed while we pursued graduate degrees at the Fashion Institute of Design and Merchandising. Separately, we each dreamed of opening our own boutique. After meeting on the first day of class, we realized that together we could accomplish much more by combining our entrepreneurial spirit and fashion sense. We love finding just the right look by shopping new designers and boutiques. After hearing complaints from friends and family about online shopping, we decided to bring the styles and designers of LA to the rest of the world via the World Wide Web.
