So I managed to solve my problem of a missing DAW. I bought an Mbox2, so I should be good for the remainder of my school career. Then when I graduate and get a desktop, I can upgrade to a digi 004...

Apparently the version of Ableton I was using, (which was admittedly cracked, because lets face it, I dont have $500 to spend on it) stopped working, and a Copyright Violation popped up... great...So ...
