It's not very often that a group of musicians can create a spark. Even more rare is when a group can take that spark and ignite a whole ablaze. Forged from the ashes of different bands, the group was formed early 2005. The bands music says it all. Luscious guitar melodies combine with driving rhythms, and Iggy's vocal harmony juxtaposes against vocalists Barrys brutal screams. All in all, a unique but brilliant combination. The band quotes a wide range of bands as influences, everything from KILLSWITCH ENGAGE andATREYU to FUNERAL FOR A FRIEND. It is the This Moments Last live show that truly sets them ahead of the field. With energy from start to finish, the band gives their all every time they step out on stage. Not afraid of the limelight, the guys also happily mingle with the crowd, providing a wholly fulfilling live experience. This Moments last's sound can be best described as very raw blend of metal and hardcore with injection of punk and emo. The musical mood can vary from dark, creeping depression to an extremely violent rage with everything in between the lyrics/vocals are very brash but personal and honest. They range from something as soft as spoken word to very sharp screams and vicious melodies.
