Engorge was formed in 1995, in the city of Utrecht, the Netherlands. The band is specialised in Old-school Death metal...mid-paced, low-tuned and groovy as hell!
The first full length 'Awaiting to Subside' was released in 1999, and the band managed to do more than 100 shows throughout the Netherlands afterwards.
After a period of rest, the concept album '50 Megatons of Armoured Steel' about German warship the Bismark was released through Skullcrusher records.
Right now, the band is working hard on a new conceptual masterpiece, this time about a world war 1 theme: the battle of Ieper. All songs are pretty much finished by now, and the recordings have started! Stay tuned, and stay brutal!
