JT The Lost
When I see your smile tears roll down my face I can't replace.And now that I'm strong I have figured out how this world turns cold and it breaks through my soul, and I know ill find deep inside me, I can be the one.I will never let you fall I'll stand up for you forever ill be there for you through it all, even if saving you sends me to heaven.
Most everyone has heard of my past, but my future still remains a mystery, especially to me. If someone would've told me six years ago that things would be this bad, I would've have never believed them, but I was wrong...dead wrong.
Six years ago, I vanished without a trace, leaving nothing behind to tell my friends I was ok. Which wasn't my fault, one night I was doing what I always did. Patroled around the city, alone, as usual. Helping the helpless and fighting the good fight, but I had a feeling tonight was going to be different. That tonight something was going to change and it did. I felt a small sting in my back and the next thing I knew I blacked out.
When I awoke I found myself in a bed I knew all to well, but it was different. The smells around the room were different and I could smell children. I quickly sat up in the bed, looking around trying to figure out what was going on. Then I felt a hand wrap around my waist and a woman laugh. I turned to see who it was and I was shocked it was Alice. A woman who had tried to kill my family, my friends and myself included. Only the strange thing was, I didn't have that feeling I normally had around her. I felt as if I loved her and had always loved her.Before I could ask what was going on, two kids jumped on my back, a boy and a girl. They were screaming daddy swing us around, please. And I knew exactly what they meant and I soon forgot all about my worries and just went with it.
This new world was very strange to me, don't get me wrong it was great, but it was a little to perfect. Everyone around was friends and no demons that could be seen. It was as if we had one the battle and never spoke about it again. Every last one of my friends were in this world, all happy and all very much in love, even Cailean who had trouble loving and most of trusting someone enough to love them. Still though in the back of my mind, there was this nagging feeling. A sense of some kind telling me this was all wrong and I needed to figure all of this out, but I just ignored it. Until the day I saw my son in the world ran over by a car, my body ached all over as I knelt down beside his lifeless body. Clutching his tiny body in my arms, but I was the only one doing this. Everyone else was just staring at me, as if I was crazy. I soon found out why, when I looked down and watched my son just instantly heal himself. You know not so strange when you consider who his parents were, but in this world I wasn't a vampire.
From then on out, everything changed people acted different towards me. Like almost scared to even say anything to me, afraid they might let something slip. I wasn't sure what was going on, but I finally got to the bottom of it. When I found a hidden door behind our bookcase in the living room. As I walked down a damp and dark corridor, I could hear strange things coming from the darkness. It was a little frightening, but I just kept going. When I reached the bottom of the steps, torches ignited on their own and I saw a small globe in the middle of the room. I wasn't sure just exactly what it was, which was one of the reasons I just had to find out. I slowly stepped in front of it, pressing my hand over it. As soon as my hand touched it, a light shot through the air and I saw visions of my world. My friends distraught over the lost of someone, I wasn't sure who it was, but I didn't see myself in any of the visions. That's when I saw her, Brook she was speaking to everyone in that room. She was talking about me, about losing a champion and a great friend. Before I could finish the vision, a fist slammed into my face. I was knocked back into a wall, when I looked up I saw Alice and everyone else standing there with looks of pure disgust.
Needless to say that night I was killed, but I didn't die. I kept having to relieve that same day over again, the samething happening to me everyday for what seemed like an enternity, but I finally one night was different. When I was attacked by Alice and all my friends once again, this time the globe was knocked over as they came down with the killing blow. So right as I died, the globe was destroyed and I was sent back to my world.
I wasn't sure how long I had been gone for, but I knew just who to go find and ask. I went searching for Brook, but I found Alice instead. She told me everything that had went on with everyone and explained that I had been gone for six years. Now I have to make up for lost time, with the people I left behind. I just hope someway that, Selene, Lily, Brook, Cailean, Faith and Alice can learn to trust me once again.
...and that is a name you will never forget.
