Sounds Like: I think that the major misconception with rappers in the South is that lyrically we are mediocre, simply because we give them the ammunition to say this. Most southern rappers are so filtrated with the allure and the glamour of the rap industry that they come in focused on the rewards that this living breathing organism (hip-hop) is associated with. I believe that for this very reason southern rap has been stripped of its substance. I say this because the question was asked of me “Who do I sound like” I think that I sound like someone that lives, breathes, and loves Hip-Hop. I’m lyrically intertwined with the game so intimate with my craft that she is pregnant with my love-child… I think that anyone that is going to try and enter into this music industry think about this, perfect your craft this should be something that you take seriously. Music is my legacy; the only thing that I can say will outlive me is my contribution to Hip-Hop.
