Doshus formed in 2007, and is based out of Venice, California. The trio is comprised of former members of the following bands: Oliver’s Soup, the David Boyles Trio, and mamaSutra. Doshus has been known to feature a growing list of "special guests" at their live shows, including vocalists, turntablists, guitar players, keys, and horns. The concept for Doshus merges the written with improv, and presents a platform for musicians to converse.
