Soft words bled from beauty and lips to mine, "Oh our lives are but a minute among tumbling hours." And with the weight of our world I lie trembling. A breath away from whithering. I fear my shadow and the shadows of all shadows. Pray tell, where is your mercy? Where is my escape?
We're here only to replace the air. On nights where the city lights shine so beautifully. It's a mirror image of the stars in the sky. Each are corresponding to one on the other side. We aren't the perfect things in poetry. We love and breathe only to be remembered. Grasping to the hope that someone will aspire to things that never came to be. That someday, someone will sing of our dreams and live to be what we couldn't.

Upon Beauty Rests
And as the flames devour us, I'll hold you in my arms and smile. Pretend I feel no pain, so you will fear not death or the path towards it. For death is yet another trial our hearts must face to find forever in eachothers eyes. It's the end of the world my love and the sun has come to claim our flesh. Now kiss me... It will all be over soon... You will be in my arms again... And I will never let go...
The things that make us smile are but the shells of life. A life without meaning if filled by loveless days. In our beauty. Love is made by God. Just as the rain, or an afternoon spent indulging in such. Indulging in so much. Might we stay awhile? Perceiving only eachother... In euphony... Perfection in our beauty.
I gave you the stars, because I can. I tore them from the night. You could never understand, I placed every last one in your hands. God made them shine only to prove that you were mine. I miss you angel... I miss you angel. The sunsets, the grace of the steps you took, your hand in mine. Your kisses and the way you were shy with me... You were my everything.
