Well, I consider myself to be a free spirit who somehow ended up working for a giant corperation right smack dab in the middle of DIRTY Jersey. Man, did I sell out or what?
In all seriousness though, I cannot stress how amazing my life has been in the past few years since moving from PA to NJ in 2003. I have amazing friends, great roommates, and I get to see a plethera of sick live music in NYC, Philly, and all over New Jersey. Music is my passion in life, and I intend to keep it that way as long as humanly possible.
Recently, I have turned into a complete technology junkie, which has helped me realize my life calling, which is Home Automation. In it's simplest form, it can be described as the complete integration of all electronic and technical devices in a home or apartment. Basically, I want to design the homes of the future, where you can control every single aspect of living (Security, Entertainment, Lighting, Temperature, etc...) from a single remote or touch-screen computer. Recently, I have been spending countless hours learning about these emerging technologies and I can now finally say that "I see the path ahead of me". My goal is to start my own company in the next few years, which I am working hard every day to achieve.
I am also a DIEHARD and loyal Pittsburgh sports fanatic, who bleeds nothing but Black and Gold. My life basically revolves around the schedule of my Steelers and Penguins, and my happiness can be directly related to their records at any point in time.
I currently work at AT&T as a Wireless Network Engineer, which has been a great job for myself coming out of college. I get to learn about many new emerging technologies and have been all over the country deploying and testing different wireless networks.
Other than that, I am pretty much in chill mode once I finish work at AT&T. Nothing beats coming home to my new family (Jaimee, Robert, Sara, and Elijah) for a fun evening at home.
I'm always down for meeting new heads, so drop me a line and say hello if you like...
Peace and Love...
-Greg
