I'm a grumpy, busy, bitchy, sometimes goofy, 35 year old. I have a 13 year old daughter (going on 19) that's a mini me. We have three pugs that shed hair all over the house and a calico cat that has destroyed any piece of nice furniture I have owned. There's also an albino hamster/gerbil/rodent thing that stares at me like it wants to eat me..I could go on and on.
I'm fascinated by Appalachian Culture. I see the sun rise over the Smoky Mountains from my kitchen window each morning. I'm massaged every single night before I go to bed. I never pay my bills late and it pisses me off if I don't pay a credit card bill in full and have to pay interest. I can't stand within ten feet of a ledge without having an anxiety attack. I have an extra bone in each foot. I'm terrified of going to the dentist. I love driving. My nose has been broken so many times I can be mistaken for Barbara Streisand. I have a camera and I like to pretend I know how to use it. My posture sucks. I have no tolerance for liars. I can't stand the personality of Perez Hilton, but I'm addicted to his site. Along with Dlisted.com and JustJared.com.
I think Dead Beat fathers should be castrated. I donate blood regularly. I love vintage glasses from the 40's. I've read all the Nancy Drew hardcover books. I'm scared of aliens, my memory sucks and I can talk about poop for hours. I have a freakishly long second toe. I can touch my nose with my tongue, I can wiggle my ears and I talk so fast most people can't understand a word I'm saying.
My absolute favorite thing to do is to jump in the car and hit the road. Destination not needed. I love following my favorite bands on tour and standing in the middle of a general admission pit and letting out any frustrations I may have. I miss my early 20's. I have the most fantastic friends, many that have been with me most of my life. I wear the pants in my relationship and my SO doesn't seem to mind...either that or he's smart enough to just let me believe I wear them! ;)
The most important part of my life is my daughter. I can't imagine my world without her. She is a very strong woman and has had to live through many trying times. My respect for her is huge. *boobie bump* (She's also a major smart ass)
I think you can tell a lot about a person by the way they handle getting a flat tire, the way they treat a child, the elderly, if they offer to help people or if they have to be asked for help. I think when people don't make at least an effort with their spelling it shows they lack motivation to better themselves.
A man who spills your secrets when he's angry is worthless. I think people should try to help each other. If you see someone doing wrong, or know they're doing wrong..don't let them get away with it. If you see someone getting mugged, help them. This selfish society we live in is worsening with each passing day. Each person can work on making it better. I think the Hippies were on to something. I'm not interested in conforming.
My political and religous beliefs change daily.
I think gut instinct is important to follow.
I'm not perfect, but I'm perfectly me.
