I love to read - I read every day. A good book is my favorite escape. I LOVE music. I'm convinced my car doesn't run without the radio on. I can't work without music in the background. Mostly I like classic rock, but some country and other stuff is good, too. Not rap. No.
My husband and I have been married for 20 years and we're still together because we work at it and it works. We have three teenage daughters who are amazing people - they make me feel blessed to have them in my life every single day. Don't get me wrong, there's still a lot of arguing at our house and my daughters can be incredibly frustrating, but this too shall pass. I sincerely believe in my girls - they are creative, musical, talented and intelligent - but most importantly they are three young women I just plain like to be around.
I have great friends, most of them for LOTS of years. I've had the same best friend since second grade and wouldn't trade her for a million dollars. That sounds really corny but I mean it.
I'm grateful, always. I know not to take anyone or anything for granted - so I make it a point to count my blessings, pray, and laugh every day.
