A LITTLE TASTING OF OUR CUTE LITTLE SKATE VIDEO. DROPPIN 2009.
I'll start off by saying I'm a 23 year old film student at the University of Kansas. My goal is to head out to California to continue my education. I had planned to attend USC this summer but my roommate plans fell through and there was no way I was about to pay to live in CA by myself on top of the ridiculous tuition costs! I enjoy all aspects of filming, skateboarding, and just the creative industry in general. I am of Mexican descent, which select individuals tend to accentuate at the appropriate times! My grandpa, Americo Ramos, came from nothing in Monterey, Mexico to America just before WWII. He was so poor he wore the same pair of shoes throughout almost his entire childhood. He is now a well respected and retired cardiovascular surgeon, which is really cool because who would've thought, right? My dad died when I was 9 years old, so I've been replacing fatherly guidance with my own trial and error system over the last decade and a half. I've had my rough times but I seem to be working things out alright. I'm not a big drinker, something about risking a 95% chance of something bad happening. Maybe it's just me, but it seems everytime I go out and drink I either lose something important, say something stupid, spend money I don't have, and/or my whole day is ruined due to a hangover! I LOVE skateboarding and all sports, really. I also like GOOD footwear like the Lakai manchester selects, Adidas Busenitz gazelle, a lot of VANS kicks, Jordan V's and XI's, Reebok Dee Brown Pumps, Koston ones, Adidas Roosts, Air Max '90 '95 and '97, DC Lynx, Lakai Jericho, Nike Dunks, and my dope boat shoes. I like soccer jerseys, although it's probably my least favorite sport, mohawks, Apple, final cut, Canon, Sony, funny ashtrays, posters, tailslide 270s, any and ALL fliptricks except stupid looking inward heelflips and improper hardflips, drawing, watercolor, Kansas Basketball, my pets Butters, Bebe and Number 2, Reveal 60 Clean and Beautiful lightbulbs, late 80's/mid 90's everything, the prospect of extraterrestrial life, Just Do It shirts, HISTORY, Deloreans, ICE hockey (if you're going to play, learn how to play it RIGHT), live action stunts, Imperial Rome, diving catches, shootouts, baseline leaners, waterpipes, caballerials, body varials, frontside 360's, spaghetti, peanut butter and jelly sandwiches, cream cheese and bacon on toast sandwiches, chicken noodle soup, Winsteads, the Spanish language, crossword puzzles, EA skate, Tiger '08, Fully Flared, Menikmati, all transworld videos, PJ's wonderful horrible life, Guy Mariano, Lucas Puig, Austen Seaholm, Peter Smolik's part in Fulfill the Dream, Stefan Janoski, Mike Mo, Brian Wenning, Zach Lyons, Adidas, Lakai, Girl, Plan B, Analog, Volcom chinos, fourstar blue jeans, argyle socks, hot water, Kansas City, Chicago, Alexandria MN, Tom Penny '98, summer weather, 40" vertical leaps, and I can't think of anything else at the time.
