About Me

East Gate is a small place in small Greenwood, DE that ran as steady venue for 4 years hosting bands from all over the US. Since our move from the old building, our shows have been few and far between while waiting for the new place to be finished. East Gate has technically been in existance for 6 years now and we're still doing what we can to reach out and bless everyone who comes across our path. We have a huge heart for youth and all the bands that come through. . .we'll probably be chugging along for many years to come. We're well know for the solid music loving crowd that comes to our place, they're so eager for new stuff and provide their full attention. Sometimes we do the shows outside and sell hot chocolate and roast marshmallows.

Sounds Like: the wheels of a skateboard on cold concrete, the clash of a hacky sack on and old pair of sneakers, the sizzling of fries in way hot oil, the thuds of a hundred shoes dancing on the floor, the slide of a checker across the black and red board, the crackling of the stones as another car pulls in, the lyrics of the cru when they are no where around, the tiny click of the button on the x box controller, the fiz of one heck of a good coke float, the silence surround a single praying voice, the cheers of heaven for a night well done.
