Mr. and Mrs. Hope In 1987-1988 Aaron, along with some school friends formed 2 different bands which played a number of live shows, and most importantly- began recording their music. In late 88 they formed a new, more mature band named Negative Image. Negative Image sold out Hollywood's 'The Roxy' the night after David Bowie's 'Tin Machine' graced the stage.
In 89 Negative Image began professional studio recordings in Santa Barbara, California. Negative Image was soon signed by a Santa Barbara independent label. The band waited for its sluggish producer to get their recordings onto a demo record. Realizing the label wanted the band to do all of the footwork, it was clear that their only true interest was in publishing rights. The stress of trying to battle the label, fell on the band and forced the break up in 1991. Through the career of Negative Image- Aaron had been taking personal time to get familiar with the recording end of the business. Aaron spent many hours recording his own solo music. Realizing the freedom of multi-track recording, Aaron realized he could make music on his own.
In 1992 he moved to Arkansas- became a Dad, and then started a serious effort to act on a solo career. In 2000, after a long musical break he began a project called Liquid Venus. Liquid Venus was a duo, creating electronic techno music with little to no vocals.
Since 2003, Aaron has begun the incorporation of talent and experience. Aaron moved to Chicago in March of 2004- figuring this would be the best place to get his music heard. UPDATE: I'm no Kanye West- so Chicago was not the right place for me. Thank GOD I've made it full circle back home to CALIFORNIA. The mountains and the beach were calling me! (among other things)
The result of all this effort is a fresh, futuristic sound. Incorporating layers of hypnotizing vocals over thick electronic beats. If you’re looking for something new- Aaron Hope has definitely found it....
ABOUT ME:
Well how arrogant of me to talk 'About Me'. Ehh, so I can be arrogant! It's my freakin' page!I have an 11 year old DAUGHTER (check my pics). I've been in Arkansas and Chicago for the past 15 years or so. Just left Chicago after 3 years there... Public Transportation, The CTA, The EL, and Subway SUCK! I could write a book on what I saw... Now I'm right back where I started from 'California' and I ask myself why I ever left???
I've seen two UFO's while in Arkansas, and have experienced 'missing time'. Don't know if that means I was brought aboard a ship and probed, but- I lost a complete hour. The first UFO was amazing and without a doubt was nothing I'd seen before or again. It was huge, lots of lights, and made no sound... What it did do- was fly right over my head- so slowly, I felt I could touch it... It also made the power go out during it's time in the sky- and now has made ME the 'crazy guy' when I explain it to people. "I saw you roll your eyes..."
THE TRUTH IS OUT THERE.
So now that we've established I'm a freak- let's get into the music. Was in a goth band in the 80's, A DJ during the 90's, and since 2000 have been creating my own electronic music solely for the purpose of calling the 'Mothership' back to Earth.
Love to read- nothing fictional- I like facts and topics on actual events. I'm addicted to POLITICS, FoxNews is my favorite news channel. Yeah I voted for Bush once- but I also voted for Clinton (once). Two huge mistakes... and the candidates today are a total JOKE..."can any of them talk without cliche's and talking points" Substance people...Substance! Get rid of the IRS- and enact Senatorial term limits (i.e. Sen. Robert Byrd) then you get my vote. Think I'll vote myself on the ticket in 2008! I'll be able to tell you what really happened in Roswell, to Kennedy, and at Area 51.
