My name is Seek. Im from boogie down Burnley in Lancashire UK and im part of Children of the Monkey Basket B-boy crew. I also host the bboy room at Breakin Bread in London, Banana Jam in Reading and Battle Jam in Brighton. I teach breakdancing Monday-Friday in Reading.The groups i teach are mainly between the age of 8 and 18. I get a lot of satisfaction out of keeping the kids off the streets and giving them something positive to work on!!! Im also working on a album right now which features Dj Woody (itf and vestax world champ), this guy is my best friend from Burnley and we basically started battling on the hip hop scene around the same time and have supported each other through thick and thin. Ive won a load of bboy competitions ( including Urban Games and the Battle of britain ) with my crew and id say we dominated the uk bboy scene for about 5 years (2000 to 2005). We have stepped back from battling at the mo and are just a dance crew that do shows and stuff like that. Its the turn of the Bad Taste Crew to take things forward now, they are very close to The Basket because Paul from Bad Taste is an original member of COTMB and this is his crew from Ireland.
