Danita Jones
No stranger to the entertainment industry, Danita A. Jones, born in Washington DC. Danita was blessed as a young child with talents, a dancer/model and designing clothes at a young age. Danita has the passion to succeed in whatever she touches, following God down the path to where he leads her; she puts her all into everything she does. She won't stop until she succeeds in doing so.
Danita won her first pageant in 2001-2002 as the reigning Ms. Metropolitan of Washington, DC, director Ean Williams, (Corjor International) DC Fashion Week's big man. Danita has done TV news for Hair Salons, Downtown Locker Room commercial, music video with P Diddy and the Go-Go All-Stars, Dolls Beauty Show (cable television networking) for model work and makeup work, Extra Braids Vol.1 No.1 Beauty Book and Streetz Magazine, and the Baltimore Sun, just to name a few. She works closely with the modeling/talent agency, Uptown Models Inc. based out of Arlington Virginia; on the management team as Makeup Artist /Model Trainer and Events Coordinator. uptownmodelsinc.com
Since Danita discovered the world of makeup artistry she has been unstoppable. Nita J (after known as) has done makeup work for several model/talent agencies for children, teens and adults. A Professional Freelance Makeup Artist for 6 years strong, Danita has traveled up and down the East-Coast with Celebrity Photographer Calvin Childs, the Best in Philadelphia, after working with him Danita has been on high demand since 2004. She has worked with well known photographers. Danita has done makeup for weddings, models, and musical entertainers. Danita was featured in the PG County Gazette for the film "Painted Smiles" and for her makeup artistry; other film works include "Prayer Life" at prayerlifemovie.com
An aspiring actress, always having the passion to act, Danita knew she would give that extra push; she has always had the drive so she followed through. As a result Danita has done independent film works as an extra in "Cyber Sex" she can be seen in "Painted Smiles", as Joe's girlfriend "Tony" and in "Crossroads" as Rowland's wife "Denise." "Piyalir's Passward"(Indian film) Subtitle Bengaoli/English, played 3 Extra's and hair styling for this film.
