Rockburn are a 4-piece rock band from Bellshill, Scotland. Formed in August 2005 Rockburn have been writing and playing together for over 2 years.
The line up includes:
Stephen Baxter – Vocals
Gary Dudgeon – Guitar
Martin "Jimi" Henry – Bass
Christo Lambrou – Drums
The band began gigging in January 2006 and has built up a dedicated fan base which has grown large enough to allow them to play some of the biggest venues in Glasgow such as Glasgow’s Barrowlands and ABC where they supported signed bands.
Rockburn’s music can be described as Classic Rock with a Blues influence although they do not restrict themselves when it comes to writing. The songs remain catchy and memorable.
The local press have shown their support for the band and continue to follow Rockburn’s progress.
Rockburn are continuing to play regularly to gain further support and promote the band across the UK.
The band has recently recorded tracks at The Foundry Music Lab to complete an industry standard demo which they have been selling to raise funds for a UK tour planned summer 2008.
Rockburn are constantly working to progress the band to new heights and their dedication and talent will ensure they reach their goals for the future.
