MISSION STATEMENT:
The Greenhouse Poetry Inc. is a community based nonprofit organization dedicated to creating a permanent stage for performance poetry by sharing local performers and their writings with the world. We will achieve this mission by holding poetry competitions and slams at youth and adult venues; connecting with other poets and venues across the country; teaching writing, communication, and performance in community workshops; and rewarding performers with scholarships, prizes, and publishing opportunities.
