About Me

So for the past three years I have been working at the Culinary Institute of America. The "World's Premeir Culinary College". I am a Residence Director there. I love it. I finished my Master's Degree in Public Administration from Marist College in May of 2007. Not really sure what I plan to do with it, but maybe become a state senator one day. LOL! Who knows....weirder shit has happened. I am currently single after a three year relationship. He is an awesome guy, but just not meant to be together. Hit me up for chat! My Interests

I like to read, sleep, cook, music, movies, hanging with friends, hiking, walking, gardening (especially orchids), and open to try and do new things.

I'd like to meet:

I like people that are real. Gay people who are grounded, straight people that are open minded, and others that are just plain fun. NO DRAMA, NO BULLSHIT, just down-to-earth, non-judgemental people.

Music:

I enjoy a plethora of music....everything basically, but not a huge rap or country fan....but even there I can find exceptions.

Movies:

"As Good as it Gets" is my favorite movie....also love the "Shawshank Redemption", most British comedies, and "The Bird Cage"

Television:

I love "Martha Stewart"....I am a dork, I know. I also love CNN, "The View", and the National Geographic channel.

Books:

I loved the Harry Potter books....I also like any book that makes me think. I like books that are "self help" books, but I also like books that are just fun to read

Heroes:

I think Eleanor Roosevelt is one of my heroes. She was the one that said, "The Future Belongs to Those Who Believe in the Beauty of your Dreams". The things she did to advance human rights in this country were unprecedented for her time, and pretty damn good for our time!
